Matt has spent the last 14 years with Arch Resources, and subsequently Core Natural Resources after the merger with Consol Energy in 2025. While at Arch he was accountable for the global metallurgical coal sales book as well as all export thermal coal sales totaling over 11 million tons per annum delivered to 38 companies located in 17 countries.
Prior to his time at Arch, Matt worked for BHP in The Hague where he managed a global team of marketing professionals with responsibility for selling 75 million tons of thermal coal from 3 continents. Matt also has experience Originating crude and natural gas deals while working at BHP, Enron and Texaco.
